                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, April 4, 2001, marked the grand opening of the
 1-2     Italian restaurant eccolo in Dallas, and this auspicious occasion
 1-3     truly merits special recognition; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, The restaurant was established by former State
 1-5     Representative Al Granoff, who served the citizens of Texas with
 1-6     distinction from 1983 to 1995; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Named the restaurant hot spot of the month in D
 1-8     Magazine's May issue, eccolo is located on McKinney Avenue and
 1-9     features the cuisine of chef Richard Robbins, a graduate of the
1-10     Italian Culinary Institute in Piemont; and
1-11           WHEREAS, eccolo is sure to make a notable mark on the Dallas
1-12     restaurant scene and brings a whole new dimension to Mr. Granoff's
1-13     sterling reputation for public service; now, therefore, be it
1-14           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-15     Legislature hereby congratulate Al Granoff on the opening of eccolo
1-16     and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in the
