R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is most pleased 1-2 to join the family and many friends of Phil "Fish" Fisher, of 1-3 Wilmer-Hutchins, in congratulating this much-loved Texan on the 1-4 occasion of his 46th birthday; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Born May 5, 1955, Mr. Fisher is the devoted husband 1-6 of Judy Fisher and the proud father of William, Patricia, Michelle, 1-7 Joe, and Morgan; and 1-8 WHEREAS, Endowed with a heart truly as large as Texas, this 1-9 good and decent man gives unceasingly of himself in behalf of 1-10 others, and he is treasured more than he can know for his 1-11 unassuming generosity and his unthinking readiness to go the last 1-12 mile in whatever way he may be needed; and 1-13 WHEREAS, In citing some of Mr. Fisher's favorite pastimes, it 1-14 should be noted that he is a frequent and welcome visitor at senior 1-15 centers and VFW posts, where he passes many a sociable hour; he 1-16 spends many another hour working on his house, and he relishes 1-17 riding his Harley-Davidson and going to THE GAME SHOW and the 1-18 rooster races; and 1-19 WHEREAS, This genuine, caring, and selfless individual 1-20 continues to enrich the lives of countless people and to brighten 1-21 immeasurably the world around him; now, therefore, be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas 1-23 Legislature hereby pay tribute to Phil "Fish" Fisher on the 1-24 occasion of his 46th birthday and extend to him sincere best wishes 2-1 for continued happiness in the years ahead; and, be it further 2-2 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-3 prepared for Mr. Fisher as an expression of high regard by the 2-4 Texas House of Representatives.
