                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes great
 1-2     pleasure in recognizing the Hosanna Gospel Group for its notable
 1-3     good works performed in the State of Texas; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Hailing from Magee, Mississippi, this exceptional
 1-5     southern gospel choir has visited Newton County on several
 1-6     occasions in the past two years, bringing the joy of song while
 1-7     doing God's work; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, The members of Hosanna include Sonny Riley, Ray
 1-9     Gates, Danny Dickerson, and Gerald Vance; they have traveled to the
1-10     Lone Star State to spread fellowship, donate their time to
1-11     charitable work, and bring happiness into the hearts of many; and
1-12           WHEREAS, Known for their hard work and selfless devotion to
1-13     helping others, these admirable individuals exemplify the highest
1-14     Christian ideals, and it is most appropriate to honor them at this
1-15     time; now, therefore, be it
1-16           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-17     Legislature hereby commend the Hosanna Gospel Group and extend to
1-18     its members sincere best wishes for continued success and
1-19     happiness; and, be it further
1-20           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-21     prepared for Hosanna as an expression of high regard by the Texas
1-22     House of Representatives.
