                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes pleasure in
 1-2     honoring the students from West Orange-Stark Middle School who have
 1-3     earned status in the school's prestigious 20 Point Club; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Created to identify and reward exceptional academic
 1-5     achievement, the 20 Point Club acknowledges students who achieve
 1-6     superior performance based on 20 criteria and who also maintain
 1-7     those standards over the first three nine-week periods; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, West Orange-Stark eighth graders in the 20 Point
 1-9     Club include Ashley Adkins, Randall Allen, Vincent Ashton, Wynona
1-10     Becker, Natalie Bernard, Mitchell Broussard, Heather Cameron, David
1-11     Ceaser, Chase Collins, Joshua Copeland, Randall Crouch, Annie DeLa
1-12     Puente, LaKendra Derouen, Frederick Flore, Kristin Foreman, Ashley
1-13     Henry, La'Quinthia Henson, James Inglis, Ashlee Kidwell, Lindsay
1-14     Knolley, Dustin Landry, Andrea Lewis, Catherine McElhinny, John
1-15     Moore, Bryan Morris, Gregory Mosley, Steven Payne, Everett Peeples,
1-16     Tiffany Pickering, Krista Smith, Geramain Solomon, Je'Kendria
1-17     Trahan, and Jennifer Veitch; and
1-18           WHEREAS, Seventh grade students who earned 20 point status
1-19     are Maychelle Albright, Porsha Alex, Crissa Bonnin, Kelsey Dardeau,
1-20     Amanda Dowden, Jessica Fisher, Jaaron Fontenot, Kristin Hall, Holly
1-21     Hammond, Dareshia Henson, Naomi Hucko, Jenna McCarey, Christian
1-22     McLain, John Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, Joshua Morris, Ebony Riley,
1-23     Maria Robare, Melondy Roberson, Jude Sciarillo, Selina Scott,
1-24     Trenton Seastrunk, Caitlin Shuff, Oran Smith, Dustin Sonnier, Eric
 2-1     Sparks, Jason Tyler, Brittany Washburn, Holly Williams, Matthew
 2-2     Wilmore, Rachel Wright, and Christina Zylks; and
 2-3           WHEREAS, Academic excellence requires hard work and
 2-4     discipline, and it is indeed appropriate to recognize students who
 2-5     have achieved this worthwhile goal; now, therefore, be it
 2-6           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
 2-7     Legislature hereby congratulate the exemplary young scholars at
 2-8     West Orange-Stark Middle School who have earned 20 Point Club
 2-9     designation and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued
2-10     success; and, be it further
2-11           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2-12     prepared for the West Orange-Stark Middle School 20 Point Club
2-13     students as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
2-14     Representatives.
