                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
 1-2     welcome the visiting group from Silicon Metrics Corporation to the
 1-3     State Capitol on this day; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Founded in 1997, Silicon Metrics Corporation is a
 1-5     software company that develops and markets EDA technology to
 1-6     address the needs of  high-performance very deep submicron (VDSM)
 1-7     designers in their pursuit of accurate timing sign-off methodology;
 1-8     and
 1-9           WHEREAS, In attendance today are Callan Carpenter, CEO; John
1-10     Croix, CTO and founder; Scott Yore, CFO; Frank Childers, VP of
1-11     sales; Troy Donato, director of the western sales region; Brian
1-12     Kendell, director of the central sales region; Susann Friedricks,
1-13     director of strategic alliances; Eric Reed, director of
1-14     applications services; Steve McCarthy, manager of customer
1-15     relations; Troy Hein, manager of western applications services;
1-16     Jose Cruz, senior applications engineer; Greg Chandler, senior
1-17     applications engineer; Fred Khosropour, senior applications
1-18     engineer; Pete Gale, applications engineer; Dwayne Jackson,
1-19     applications engineer; Dale Neidhammer, field applications
1-20     consultant; Winnie Ng, field applications consultant; and Brendan
1-21     Rankin, applications engineer; and
1-22           WHEREAS, Silicon Metrics Corporation, which has its
1-23     headquarters in Austin, is truly making an outstanding contribution
1-24     to the Lone Star State and contributing to the Capitol City's
 2-1     reputation as a center for business and technology; now, therefore,
 2-2     be it
 2-3           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
 2-4     Legislature hereby recognize the visiting group from Silicon
 2-5     Metrics Corporation and extend to its members best wishes for
 2-6     continued success.
