R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The passing of Stan Saucier of Huntsville on April
 1-2     20, 2001, at the age of 44, has brought a great loss to the family
 1-3     and countless friends and admirers of this noted community leader;
 1-4     and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Mr. Saucier joined the citizenry of Huntsville in
 1-6     1986, when he took on the responsibilities of manager of the
 1-7     Hitchin' Post restaurant; later, he established his own insurance
 1-8     business; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, During his lifetime, this highly regarded gentleman
1-10     contributed to the betterment of his community through service as
1-11     president of the United Way of Walker County and the
1-12     Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce and his involvement
1-13     with the Huntsville Rotary Club and the Walker County Hospital
1-14     District Board of Managers; further, he was a graduate of the
1-15     Huntsville Leadership Institute; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share the friendship of
1-17     Stan Saucier will long miss his loving and generous presence, and
1-18     he will surely be remembered with great affection and admiration
1-19     for many years to come; now, therefore, be it
1-20           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-21     Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Stan Saucier and
1-22     extend sincere sympathy to his wife of 25 years, Vickey Saucier; to
1-23     his children, Kimberley and Robbie; and to the other relatives and
1-24     many friends of this beloved man; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-2     prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 2-3     Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Stan
 2-4     Saucier.
