R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, Robert R. Rojas Elementary School has been accorded
 1-2     a great honor by the El Paso Collaborative for Academic Excellence
 1-3     and the National Science Foundation for innovations in science
 1-4     education; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, One of only six Schools of Excellence to be
 1-6     commended, Robert R. Rojas Elementary School has established unique
 1-7     learning programs that capture the students' interest in science,
 1-8     encourage them to continue in this worthwhile field of study, and
 1-9     ensure academic success; and
1-10           WHEREAS, The El Paso Collaborative and the National Science
1-11     Foundation have found it fitting to recognize Robert R. Rojas
1-12     Elementary School for its committed efforts and dedication to the
1-13     teaching of science, which is no doubt equipping young Texans with
1-14     the tools necessary to embrace the challenges of the future; now,
1-15     therefore, be it
1-16           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-17     Legislature hereby congratulate Robert R. Rojas Elementary School
1-18     for being honored as a School of Excellence for its innovations in
1-19     science education and extend to its faculty, staff, and students
1-20     sincere best wishes for continued success.
