R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, Steve Crosno is a talented radio announcer and
 1-2     television presenter, and his many contributions to the El Paso
 1-3     community are truly noteworthy; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Since he began working in radio at the age of 16,
 1-5     Mr. Crosno has been a pioneering spirit in El Paso's entertainment
 1-6     industry, playing Spanish music on an English-language radio
 1-7     station when no one else was; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Mr. Crosno is best known for his 1960s dance show,
 1-9     "Crosno Hop," on which he introduced many great performers to the
1-10     border region, most notably James Brown; now, after a two-year
1-11     hiatus, this talented deejay and presenter has returned to the
1-12     airwaves with his oldies show, "Cruzin' with Crosno," which airs on
1-13     KBNA-FM; and
1-14           WHEREAS, Dedicated to his profession and devoted to the El
1-15     Paso audience, Mr. Crosno has been an invaluable contributor to the
1-16     culture and lives of countless people; now, therefore, be it
1-17           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-18     Legislature hereby honor Steve Crosno and extend to him heartfelt
1-19     wishes for continued success in all his future endeavors; and, be
1-20     it further
1-21           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-22     prepared for Mr. Crosno as an expression of high regard by the
1-23     Texas House of Representatives.
