                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, It is a pleasure to recognize Virdell Williams, a
 1-2     rising musical star, as he begins what is sure to be a notable
 1-3     opera career in New York City; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Mr. Williams has pursued his studies at Texas Tech
 1-5     University and The University of Texas at Austin, and he now
 1-6     ventures forth toward a future bright with promise and will perform
 1-7     for some of the world's most discerning opera audiences; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, An exceptionally talented Texan, Mr. Williams
 1-9     exemplifies the highest ideals of dedication and hard work, and his
1-10     mastery of his art, committed efforts, and high aspirations have
1-11     made him a source of great pride for the Lone Star State; now,
1-12     therefore, be it
1-13           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
1-14     Legislature hereby honor Virdell Williams as he embarks on his
1-15     opera career and extend to him sincere best wishes for success in
1-16     all his future endeavors; and, be it further
1-17           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-18     prepared for Mr. Williams as an expression of high regard by the
1-19     Texas House of Representatives.
