R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, Rhonda High Pecora of Austin is renowned for her 1-2 superb culinary skills and talent as a hostess, which have earned 1-3 her an ever-widening circle of friends; and 1-4 WHEREAS, A meeting and convention planner for the Texas Trial 1-5 Lawyers Association, where she has been employed since 1990, 1-6 Mrs. Pecora frequently tempts the tastebuds of others with her 1-7 tantalizing fare; and 1-8 WHEREAS, She claims heredity played a role in her 1-9 appreciation of good food and knowledge of its preparation, since 1-10 her parents, Don and Mary Jane Lester of Mission, are noted 1-11 caterers in the Rio Grande Valley; Mrs. Pecora always has plenty of 1-12 volunteers to try out her recipes at home, with husband Jim, 1-13 daughter Laney, and son Christopher vying for the honor; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Exemplifying creativity, professionalism, and 1-15 generosity, Rhonda Pecora is always ready to prepare a meal for two 1-16 or 20 at the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, regardless of the 1-17 guests' party affiliation, title, or even their view on tort 1-18 issues; now, therefore, be it 1-19 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas 1-20 Legislature hereby commend Rhonda High Pecora for her exceptional 1-21 cooking skills and abilities as a hostess and extend to her sincere 1-22 best wishes for the future; and, be it further 1-23 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 1-24 prepared for Mrs. Pecora as an expression of high regard by the 2-1 Texas House of Representatives.
