R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State
 1-2     of Texas, 77th Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, That House Rule
 1-3     13, Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule
 1-4     13, Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to
 1-5     resolve the differences on House Bill No. 2255, relating to the
 1-6     continuation and functions of the State Securities Board; providing
 1-7     penalties, to consider and take action on the following matter:
 1-8           House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(1), is suspended to permit the
 1-9     committee to change text in Subdivision (3), Subsection E, Section
1-10     2, The Securities Act (Article 581-2, Vernon's Texas Civil
1-11     Statutes), as amended by SECTION 1.01 of the bill, to read as
1-12     follows:
1-13                 (3)  is ineligible for membership under Subsection B of
1-14     this section or Subsection B or C of Section 2-1 of this Act;
1-15           Explanation:  The change is necessary to correct a
1-16     cross-reference.
