R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, On June 2, 2001, Colleen Marie Crisp and Robert
 1-2     Joshua Benefield are being united in matrimony at the First Baptist
 1-3     Church of Deer Park to the delight of all who know them; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, The daughter of Carl and Cindy Crisp and the beloved
 1-5     granddaughter of James and Dorothy Ralph and William and Mary
 1-6     Margaret Crisp, this lovely young lady ranked sixth in her
 1-7     graduating class at La Porte High School and graduated magna cum
 1-8     laude from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, one of only four
 1-9     students to maintain a 4.0 grade point average all four years; she
1-10     is currently a valued staff member in the office of State
1-11     Representative Ray Allen, where she works as an administrative and
1-12     legislative aide successfully balancing the stressful demands of a
1-13     legislative session with the joyful pressure involved in planning a
1-14     wedding; and
1-15           WHEREAS, A native of California, Mr. Benefield is also a
1-16     graduate of La Porte High School, where he played varsity football
1-17     and won the heart of his cherished fiancee; employed as an
1-18     accountant at Dell Financial Services in Austin, this fortunate
1-19     young man began his courtship of Ms. Crisp by inviting her to a
1-20     showing of The Lion King while both were juniors in high school,
1-21     and since that time their love has continued to grow; and
1-22           WHEREAS, The marriage of two people is a joyous event that
1-23     marks the beginning of a union filled with limitless possibilities,
1-24     and it is a privilege to honor this couple as they embark on a new
 2-1     life together; now, therefore, be it
 2-2           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas
 2-3     Legislature hereby congratulate Colleen Marie Crisp and Robert
 2-4     Joshua Benefield on their impending marriage and extend to them
 2-5     sincere best wishes for much happiness in the years to come; and,
 2-6     be it further
 2-7           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-8     prepared for them as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 2-9     House of Representatives.
