R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State
 1-2     of Texas, 77th Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, That House Rule
 1-3     13, Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule
 1-4     13, Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to
 1-5     resolve the differences on House Bill 1203, relating to the
 1-6     purchase of certain insurance and surety coverage by state agencies
 1-7     and to workers' compensation insurance benefits provided by certain
 1-8     state agencies, to consider and take action on the following
 1-9     matters:
1-10           (1)  House Rule 13, Sections 9(a)(1) and (3), are suspended
1-11     to permit the committee to add text changing Section 412.042, Labor
1-12     Code, as amended by SECTION 1.06, House Bill 1203, by adding
1-13     Subsection (c) to read as follows:
1-14           (c)  On an annual basis, not later than September 30 of each
1-15     year, agencies exempt under Section 412.052 of this article shall
1-16     provide a written report to the Legislative Budget Board
1-17     identifying policies purchased under any line of insurance other
1-18     than life or health insurance.  The report should include a
1-19     description of the policy, coverage limits, deductibles, and losses
1-20     incurred under that coverage.
1-21           Explanation:  This change is necessary to ensure that the
1-22     legislature has sufficient information concerning insurance
1-23     policies purchased by state agencies.
