No. 1429 77R17897 JKB-D R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, David Sung Moss has been an outstanding legislative 1-2 intern in the Capitol office of State Representative Glenn O. 1-3 Lewis, and his hard work and dedication during the 77th Regular 1-4 Session have been important assets to Representative Lewis and to 1-5 the constituents of House District 95; and 1-6 WHEREAS, A senior at The University of Texas at Austin, 1-7 Mr. Moss is graduating in May 2001 with a double major in English 1-8 and government and is in the government department's honors 1-9 program; one of 12 students from his graduating class to be 1-10 selected as a Dean's Distinguished Graduate of the College of 1-11 Liberal Arts, he is a member of the Golden Key National Honor 1-12 Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the 1-13 recipient of the Rapoport-King Scholarship; and 1-14 WHEREAS, In addition to his work at the university, he has 1-15 worked in Representative Lewis's office since August 2000, 1-16 demonstrating tremendous discipline and professionalism as he 1-17 gained a unique insight into the workings of state government; and 1-18 WHEREAS, With the Regular Session of the 77th Legislature 1-19 drawing to a close, it is most appropriate to honor the significant 1-20 efforts of Mr. Moss and to express appreciation for his noteworthy 1-21 work; now, therefore, be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 77th Texas 1-23 Legislature hereby commend David Sung Moss on his tenure as an 1-24 intern in the Capitol office of State Representative Glenn O. Lewis 2-1 and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and 2-2 happiness; and, be it further 2-3 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-4 prepared for Mr. Moss as an expression of high regard by the Texas 2-5 House of Representatives.
