                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to license plates for certain consular officials.
 1-3           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-4           SECTION 1. Section 502.267(b), Transportation Code, is
 1-5     amended to read as follows:
 1-6           (b)  License plates issued under this section must include
 1-7     the words "Consular Official ["Honorary Consul]."
 1-8           SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2001.
