1-1                        SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 1-2           WHEREAS, The members of both chambers of the 77th Texas
 1-3     Legislature are truly grateful to the State Preservation Board
 1-4     housekeeping staff for its tireless efforts in keeping the Capitol
 1-5     in pristine condition; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, Amid the hustle and bustle of daily legislative
 1-7     affairs, the high standards of caretaking upheld consistently shine
 1-8     through as this nationally recognized landmark remains immaculate
 1-9     thanks to the quiet but arduous efforts of this dedicated staff;
1-10     and
1-11           WHEREAS, The custodians of the Capitol Building include:
1-12     Arleena "Pat" Barrett, Gilbert Cadena, Maria Carranza, Charles
1-13     Cunningham, Sylvia Daniels, Marisol Esquivel, Barbara Gonzales,
1-14     Tomas Gonzales, Seberina Hernandez, Chris Johle, James Johnson,
1-15     Debra Jones, Maria Lopez, Diane Megallanez, Bob Martinez, Rodrigo
1-16     Orosco, Ana Reyes, Janie Saldana, Flora Torres, Quang Tran, and
1-17     Cathy Young; and
1-18           WHEREAS, It is most appropriate at this time to commend these
1-19     hardworking individuals for the exceptional service they provide in
1-20     maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of this majestic building;
1-21     now, therefore, be it
1-22           RESOLVED, That the 77th Legislature of the State of Texas
1-23     hereby honor the members of the State Preservation Board
1-24     housekeeping staff and extend to them heartfelt appreciation for
1-25     their invaluable support; and, be it further
                                                               S.C.R. No. 71
    2-1           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-2     prepared for the members of the housekeeping staff as an expression
    2-3     of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
