1-1                        SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 1-2           WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 2 has been adopted by the Texas
 1-3     Senate and the Texas House of Representatives and is being prepared
 1-4     for enrollment; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be
 1-6     corrected; now, therefore, be it
 1-7           RESOLVED by the 77th Legislature of the State of Texas, That
 1-8     the enrolling clerk of the senate be instructed to make technical
 1-9     corrections to Senate Bill No. 2 as follows:
1-10           (1)  In PART 5, ARTICLE 3 of the bill, add a new section to
1-11     read as follows:
1-12           SECTION 3.0510.  CONFLICTS.  If another bill relating to the
1-13     Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District is enacted by the 77th
1-14     Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, and becomes law, then, to the
1-15     extent of any conflict between that Act and this part, the
1-16     provisions of that Act shall prevail.
1-17           (2)  In SECTION 10.08 of the bill, in the second sentence of
1-18     Subsection (a) (Conference Committee Report page 228), strike "to
1-19     permit a retail public utility to increase rates" and substitute
1-20     "to permit a public utility to increase rates".
