 1-2                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 50
 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
 1-4     Texas Department of Insurance and Commissioner Jose Montemayor
 1-5     in honoring the longtime service of Isabel Paz Campos to the
 1-6     State of Texas; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, By ensuring that a $65-billion industry is
 1-8     regulated, the Texas Department of Insurance performs an
 1-9     invaluable service, and the agency depends on the hard work
1-10     and dedication of its employees to carry out its important
1-11     function; and
1-12           WHEREAS, Those who have served the Texas Department
1-13     of Insurance for 30 or more years, such as Isabel Campos, are
1-14     held in especially high regard, for their accumulated expertise
1-15     enables the agency to perform its duties with the highest degree
1-16     of professionalism; and
1-17           WHEREAS, Isabel Campos, who is a Network Specialist II in
1-18     Information Services, began her service to the state in May, 1970,
1-19     with the Texas Department of Human Services; soon her considerable
1-20     talents were recognized and she began a position with the Texas
 2-1     Department of Insurance in June, 1976; and
 2-2           WHEREAS, The State of Texas is indeed fortunate to have
 2-3     such dedicated employees as Isabel Paz Campos attending to
 2-4     insurance regulation in this state; these men and women are
 2-5     deserving of the highest commendation; now, therefore, be it
 2-6           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-7     77th Legislature, hereby commend Isabel Paz Campos for her
 2-8     30 years of superior work; and, be it further
 2-9           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2-10     her as an expression of highest regard from the Texas Senate.
