1-1 ****** NEED TWO-PAGE HEADER ****** 1-2 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 132 1-3 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to 1-4 congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lynn Green of Greenville on the 1-5 grand occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary; and 1-6 WHEREAS, Uniting in marriage on January 19, 1951, in 1-7 Quitman, Texas, Harold Lynn Green and Melva Jean White formed an 1-8 ideal relationship based on love, devotion, and mutual respect; 1-9 and 1-10 WHEREAS, For half a century, they have shared a strong and 1-11 lasting relationship filled with beautiful memories that are 1-12 cherished more dearly with each passing day; and 1-13 WHEREAS, The faithful members of Park Street Baptist Church 1-14 have been blessed with a wonderful family: their children, 1-15 Sharon and George Flournoy, Shirley and Randall White, Janet and 1-16 Ronald Lee, Michael and Sharon Green, and Tami and Terry Finley; 1-17 and their 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and 1-18 WHEREAS, Mr. Green is a retiree of Farmer's Electric, and 1-19 Mrs. Green retired as a valued employee of E-Systems; and 2-1 WHEREAS, In commemoration of this milestone in their lives, 2-2 the distinguished couple celebrated their golden wedding 2-3 anniversary surrounded by their family and friends at a reception 2-4 on January 21, 2001; now, therefore, be it 2-5 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-6 77th Legislature, hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Harold Green 2-7 on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend best wishes for the 2-8 future; and, be it further 2-9 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the 2-10 esteemed couple as a memento of this special day in their life. 2-11 Cain 2-12 ______________________________________ 2-13 President of the Senate 2-14 I hereby certify that the above 2-15 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-16 on January 30, 2001. 2-17 ______________________________________ 2-18 Secretary of the Senate 2-19 ______________________________________ 2-20 Member, Texas Senate
