 1-5                              Margaret Terrill
 1-6           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
 1-7     of San Angelo in mourning the loss of Margaret Terrill, who died
 1-8     December 30, 2000; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Born to W. E. and Gay Moore in Brownfield on
1-10     May 13, 1916, Margaret graduated from high school and married
1-11     Clarence Terrill on March 6, 1934; and
1-12           WHEREAS, Margaret was devoted to the town of San Angelo, her
1-13     residence since 1941, and she was respected and loved by members
1-14     of her community; and
1-15           WHEREAS, A woman of integrity, strength, and generosity,
1-16     Margaret gave unselfishly of her time to others, and her wisdom,
1-17     warmth, and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew
1-18     her; and
1-19           WHEREAS, An exemplary and distinguished lady, Margaret
1-20     leaves behind memories that will be forever cherished by her
1-21     family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
 2-1           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-2     77th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the family
 2-3     of Margaret Terrill:  her children, Dr. Robert and Barbara Rowland,
 2-4     Burt and Dela Terrill, and Burl and Jan Terrill; her grandchildren,
 2-5     Susan Rowland Butler, Scott Rowland, Stacy Rowland,
 2-6     Kim Terrill Ivey, Tammy Terrill Glass, Mike Terrill, Kent Terrill,
 2-7     Craig Terrill, and Kayja Powers; and her 11 great-grandchildren;
 2-8     and, be it further
 2-9           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2-10     the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy
2-11     from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this
2-12     day, it do so in memory of Margaret Terrill.
