 1-2                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 198
 1-3           WHEREAS, For Seth and Carol Winick, January 20, 2001, was
 1-4     a day when time stood still and history was made, for on that
 1-5     memorable day young Samuel Ryan Winick was welcomed into the
 1-6     world with great enthusiasm; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Born on Saturday afternoon, January 20, 2001,
 1-8     this healthy baby boy weighed more than seven pounds and has
 1-9     a shock of black hair; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Samuel Ryan has already brought a great deal of
1-11     happiness to his family and friends, and he has been heartily
1-12     welcomed into the family by his sisters, Caylin, who is six,
1-13     and Emily, who is three; and
1-14           WHEREAS, Texas grandmother, Veta, and grandfather, Darv,
1-15     of Dickinson were thrilled with the news of the arrival of their
1-16     new grandson; and
1-17           WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of the whole family received
1-18     the exciting news with expressions of shared delight; and
1-19           WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that the Texas Senate recognize
 2-1     Samuel Ryan Winick as a treasured member of the Winick family; now,
 2-2     therefore, be it
 2-3           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-4     77th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Seth Winick
 2-5     and Carol Winick and extend warm greetings to Samuel Ryan Winick
 2-6     with best wishes for much future happiness; and, be it further
 2-7           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
 2-8     family as an expression of highest regard from the Texas Senate.
