 1-2                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 510
 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
 1-4     recognize Harold Johnson, who is retiring after 12 years of
 1-5     outstanding service as Superintendent of the Scurry-Rosser
 1-6     Independent School District; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, An enthusiastic coach, teacher, middle school
 1-8     counselor, high school assistant principal, assistant
 1-9     superintendent, and superintendent, Mr. Johnson has devoted his
1-10     adult life to the education of the schoolchildren of Texas; and
1-11           WHEREAS, His 37 years of broad experience and versatility
1-12     in the field of education have been invaluable in his position as
1-13     superintendent for the Scurry-Rosser Independent School District;
1-14     and
1-15           WHEREAS, Through his achievements and abilities,
1-16     Harold Johnson has contributed greatly to the progressive
1-17     development of this school district and enhanced its quality
1-18     of education; and
1-19           WHEREAS, The tireless efforts of Harold Johnson on behalf
1-20     of the schoolchildren of Texas are truly worthy of legislative
 2-1     recognition; now, therefore, be it
 2-2           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-3     77th Legislature, hereby commend Harold Johnson for his
 2-4     exceptional contributions to the Scurry-Rosser Independent
 2-5     School District and extend best wishes to him for the future;
 2-6     and, be it further
 2-7           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-8     him as a token of esteem and high regard from the Texas Senate.
