 1-3           WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to honor Bill Warner
 1-4     as he retires from his position as president of the
 1-5     Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, At the helm for the past decade, Mr. Warner has
 1-7     successfully guided his team of chamber staff and volunteers to
 1-8     attain their shared objectives; his impressive legacy includes
 1-9     increasing chamber membership by 25 percent, enhancing its image
1-10     in the business community, and initiating programs to stabilize
1-11     the organization's finances; and
1-12           WHEREAS, This dynamic individual has enabled the
1-13     chamber's dedicated personnel to work more efficiently by
1-14     encouraging greater volunteer participation in leadership
1-15     roles while ensuring appropriate recognition of volunteer
1-16     accomplishments; and
1-17           WHEREAS, During his outstanding tenure as chamber
1-18     president, Bill Warner has aspired to the highest ideals of
1-19     professionalism and achievement, and his significant efforts in
1-20     behalf of his fellow Texans are truly exemplary; now, therefore,
 2-1     be it
 2-2           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-3     77th Legislature, hereby commend Bill Warner for his distinguished
 2-4     service as president of the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce
 2-5     and extend to him warmest wishes for future success; and, be it
 2-6     further
 2-7           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
 2-8     prepared for Mr. Warner as an expression of high regard from the
 2-9     Texas Senate.
