 1-2                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 728
 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud
 1-4     to recognize Retriever Payment Systems on the grand occasion
 1-5     of its annual meeting, which is being held in Houston
 1-6     June 1 through 6, 2001; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Employees of Retriever Payment Systems are
 1-8     gathering from across the country for their annual meeting to
 1-9     discuss sales and new products for the commercial credit card
1-10     transaction industry; and
1-11           WHEREAS, The meeting is entitled "The Summitt," and its
1-12     host is the company's president, Bill Higgins; and
1-13           WHEREAS, The employees of Retriever Payment Systems have
1-14     consistently exhibited integrity, dedication, and perseverance
1-15     in managing their responsibilities, and their conservative
1-16     business principles have contributed to the company's success;
1-17     and
1-18           WHEREAS, Retriever Payment Systems is committed to
1-19     customer satisfaction and to maintaining competitive rates,
1-20     and the company's high standards have helped to make it the
 2-1     successful merchant credit card processing service it is today;
 2-2     now, therefore, be it
 2-3           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-4     77th Legislature, hereby commend the employees of Retriever
 2-5     Payment Systems and welcome them to Houston on the occasion of
 2-6     their annual meeting; and, be it further
 2-7           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-8     the company as a token of regard from the Texas Senate.
