 1-2                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 761
 1-3           WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is pleased to congratulate
 1-4     Mr. and Mrs. Bob Goad of Greenville on the felicitous occasion
 1-5     of their 50th anniversary, which they celebrated with their
 1-6     family recently; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Mary and Bob were married on April 6, 1951, in
 1-8     Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mr. Goad is retired from E-Systems
 1-9     after 26 years of superb service; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Loving and caring, Mr. and Mrs. Goad have been
1-11     blessed with one daughter and one son, Darla and Larry; Mary
1-12     and Bob have five grandchildren, who have brought them great
1-13     joy and happiness; and
1-14           WHEREAS, Throughout the years, Mr. and Mrs. Goad have grown
1-15     stronger as together they have experienced the vicissitudes of
1-16     life; and
1-17           WHEREAS, By having mutual respect, a sense of humor, a zest
1-18     for life, and an unwavering love for one another, Mary and Bob Goad
1-19     serve as an outstanding example of a couple with a successful
1-20     marriage; and
 2-1           WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Goad is
 2-2     an inspiration to all; now, therefore, be it
 2-3           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-4     77th Legislature, hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Bob Goad on
 2-5     the momentous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary; and,
 2-6     be it further
 2-7           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-8     this distinguished couple as a memento of this notable day in
 2-9     their lives.
