1-1 ****** NEED TWO-PAGE HEADER ****** 1-2 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 838 1-3 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 1-4 welcome Elsa Ramos Rodriguez on her upcoming visit to the Texas 1-5 State Capitol; and 1-6 WHEREAS, A resident of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, Elsa 1-7 will move to Austin in July, 2001, to marry Texan Royal Masset; 1-8 she is the proud mother of three children, Jorge, Ernesto, and 1-9 Elsa Isabel; and 1-10 WHEREAS, Elsa is well-known in her community as a former 1-11 "Senorita Coahuila," the equivalent of Miss Texas, and as the 1-12 former proprietor of Tio Sam, a restaurant in Saltillo; and 1-13 WHEREAS, Before Texas independence, the state was named 1-14 Coahuila Tejas, and its capitol was Saltillo; Stephen F.
