 1-2                         SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1063
 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great
 1-4     pleasure in recognizing Courtney McClanahan on the auspicious
 1-5     occasion of her graduation from The University of Texas at
 1-6     Austin; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Saturday, May 19, 2001, will be a milestone in the
 1-8     life of this exemplary young woman, for on that day she receives
 1-9     her Bachelor of Business Administration degree; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Having completed her studies and the requirements
1-11     for graduation from this outstanding institution of higher
1-12     education, the 1996 graduate of Bellaire High School will embark
1-13     on yet another adventure this fall when she enters graduate school
1-14     at The University of Texas at Austin with the goal of attaining a
1-15     master's degree in Public Accounting; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Revered by fellow staff members at the Senate
1-17     Natural Resources Committee office for her sunny disposition
1-18     and her grace under pressure, Courtney has gained skills that
1-19     will enable her to enjoy many opportunities in the coming years;
1-20     now, therefore, be it
 2-1           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-2     77th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to
 2-3     Courtney McClanahan with all best wishes for the future; and,
 2-4     be it further
 2-5           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-6     her as a memento of this special time in her life.
