 1-2                         SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1074
 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great pride
 1-4     in recognizing Joshua Scott Cantrell on the auspicious occasion
 1-5     of his graduation from the University of Houston Law Center; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, Friday, May 11, 2001, was a milestone in the
 1-7     life of this exemplary young man for on that day he joined other
 1-8     members of his class at the Hofheinz Pavilion for the Law Center
 1-9     Commencement Exercises; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Through hard work and determination, Joshua
1-11     has achieved the goal he set for himself and his pursuit of
1-12     excellence has brought honor to himself and his family; and
1-13           WHEREAS, Having completed his studies and the requirements
1-14     for his doctor of jurisprudence degree, Joshua will embark on
1-15     yet another adventure into a world that holds countless exciting
1-16     opportunities for him; and
1-17           WHEREAS, It is indeed a pleasure for the Texas Senate to
1-18     recognize the achievements of this remarkable gentleman who has
1-19     equipped himself with the skills necessary to take full advantage
1-20     of all that the future holds; now, therefore, be it
 2-1           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-2     77th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to
 2-3     Joshua Scott Cantrell on receiving his law degree with all
 2-4     best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 2-5           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-6     him as a memento of this special day in his life.
