 1-2                         SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1078
 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 1-4     recognize Steven Marcos Salgado on the auspicious occasion of
 1-5     his graduation from Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, The son of Mary Jane and Adan Salgado, Steven is
 1-7     a respected and well-liked student and an exemplary young man
 1-8     who strives for excellence in all of his endeavors; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Steven was a member of the Junior National Honor
1-10     Society, media tech, yearbook, and student council; he enjoys
1-11     playing his bass guitar and has performed at numerous local
1-12     talent shows; he has been accepted at The University of Texas at
1-13     San Antonio and will be entering its engineering program; and
1-14           WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of high
1-15     school education with success and distinction, Steven now embarks
1-16     on an adventure into a world for which he is well prepared and
1-17     which holds countless exciting opportunities for him; and
1-18           WHEREAS, Steven and his classmates are attending
1-19     commencement exercises on May 25, 2001; now, therefore, be it
 2-1           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-2     77th Legislature, hereby commend Steven Marcos Salgado for
 2-3     his many accomplishments and extend to him best wishes for
 2-4     the future; and, be it further
 2-5           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-6     him as a memento of this special occasion.
