                                  SENATE RESOLUTION
 1-1           BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, 77th
 1-2     Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, That Senate Rule 12.03 be
 1-3     suspended in part as provided by Senate Rule 12.08 to enable the
 1-4     conference committee appointed to resolve the differences on House
 1-5     Bill No.  2255, relating to the continuation and functions of the
 1-6     State Securities Board; providing penalties, to consider and take
 1-7     action on the following matter:
 1-8           Senate Rule 12.03(1) is suspended to permit the committee to
 1-9     change text in Subdivision (3), Subsection E, Section 2, The
1-10     Securities Act (Article 581-2, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as
1-11     amended by SECTION 1.01 of the bill, to read as follows:
1-12                 (3)  is ineligible for membership under Subsection B of
1-13     this section or Subsection B or C of Section 2-1 of this Act;
1-14           Explanation:  The change is necessary to correct a
1-15     cross-reference.
