 1-2                         SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1202
 1-3           WHEREAS, On April 28, 2001, Shaine Alaine Muller and
 1-4     Brandon Wynne Morris embarked on a new and exciting journey in
 1-5     their life together when they were united as husband and wife by
 1-6     the Honorable Sid Harle at the Southwest School of Arts and Crafts
 1-7     in San Antonio; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Honors graduates of Stanford University, Shaine
 1-9     and Brandon met during their senior year, and their blossoming
1-10     relationship grew in mutual respect, affection, understanding,
1-11     and an enjoyment of tripping the light fantastic; at midnight
1-12     at the turn of the new Millennium, Mr. Morris's proposal of
1-13     marriage was warmly accepted by Ms. Muller; and
1-14           WHEREAS, The daughter of Sherryl Hanks Muller and the late
1-15     Charles Wallace Muller, Shaine Muller received a degree in
1-16     biological sciences and will complete her graduate degree in
1-17     medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School
1-18     in Dallas, Texas, in 2002; and
1-19           WHEREAS, The son of Bonnie Miller Morris and Robert B. Morris,
1-20     Brandon received a bachelor's degree in economics; he currently
1-21     holds the position of float management consultant with the
1-22     Carreker Corporation of Dallas, Texas; and
1-23           WHEREAS, The decision to enter into marriage is a profound
 2-1     and powerful expression of commitment, and the lifelong
 2-2     fulfillment of this sacred vow is one of the most meaningful
 2-3     experiences possible; at the same time, the tradition of the
 2-4     wedding ceremony is a joyous public affirmation of love, and
 2-5     this celebration nurtures and strengthens not only husband and
 2-6     wife but also their friends, family, and community; and
 2-7           WHEREAS, In joining together in wedlock, Shaine Alaine Muller
 2-8     and Brandon Wynne Morris have not only imbued their own lives
 2-9     with new richness and radiance but have also brought great joy
2-10     and inspiration to their many friends and loved ones, and it is
2-11     indeed a privilege to commemorate this auspicious occasion; now,
2-12     therefore, be it
2-13           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
2-14     77th Legislature, hereby congratulate Shaine and Brandon on the
2-15     occasion of their wedding and extend to them sincere best wishes
2-16     for continued success and happiness in the years to come; and,
2-17     be it further
2-18           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared
2-19     for Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Morris as an expression of high regard
2-20     from the Texas Senate.
