1-1 ****** NEED TWO-PAGE HEADER ****** 1-2 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1268 1-3 WHEREAS, April 12, 2001, was a momentous day in the lives of 1-4 Travis Wayne Rayburn and Amy Laurel D'leigh Stephens Rayburn of 1-5 Huntsville, for on that day they became the proud parents of four 1-6 adorable babies when Mrs. Rayburn gave birth to quadruplets; and 1-7 WHEREAS, Born at Saint Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, 1-8 the three boys and one girl surely were the center of attention 1-9 among staff and patients alike when they made their dramatic debut 1-10 as only the second set of quadruplets ever born in the state without 1-11 the aid of a fertility-enhancing procedure; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Jackson Travis weighed in at two pounds, five 1-13 ounces, and was the first to arrive at 5:00 p.m., followed by 1-14 Garrett Hugh at two pounds, eight and one-half ounces, at 5:08 p.m.; 1-15 Colton Charles weighed two pounds, seven ounces, when he joined his 1-16 brothers at 5:09 p.m., and sister Abigail D'leigh completed the 1-17 quartet at two pounds, six and one-half ounces, when she made her 1-18 appearance at 5:10 p.m.; and 1-19 WHEREAS, The long-awaited arrival of this beloved Texas-sized 1-20 bundle of joy has brought boundless happiness to their parents and 2-1 to grandparents Charles P. and Carolyn S.
