The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by allowing a judge
to order community service work not to exceed 600 hours, or less than
160 hours, for the Class A misdemeanor offense of burglary of a vehicle.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
