The bill would amend the Public Order and Decency Chapter of the Penal
Code. The bill would also amend the Penal Code by enhancing the
punishment for the offense of sale or purchase of a child from a felony
of the third degree to a felony of the second degree if the actor
commits the offense with intent to commit the offense of sexual
performance by a child.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
