Local Government Impact

This bill allows the board of trustees in certain school districts to
order that trustees, or some portion of the trustees, of the district be
elected from single-member trustee districts. School districts that
choose this option could face some administrative costs to draw the
district lines. The costs for the single member district elections could
be slightly reduced, due to fewer ballots.
