The bill would be administered by the Commission on Human Rights, which is required to adopt rules as necessary. The Commission on Human Rights would be required to receive, investigate, seek to conciliate and act on complaints alleging violations of this Act. Methodology The Commission on Human Rights would require an additional Senior Investigator with expertise in expertise in employment, housing and public accommodations law to handle an estimated 100 complaints per fiscal year resulting from the bill's enactment. Additional costs for the salary, operating costs and benefits associated with this additional FTE are estimated at $60,821 per fiscal year. Any costs to the Office of the Attorney General are expected to be absorbed within the agency's existing budget. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
