               suit for modification of an order in a suit affecting the

The bill would provide that a party in a suit affecting the parent-child
relationship may serve an offer of settlement upon another party. The
bill would further provide that if a party rejects the settlement offer
and the court order which is finally render is more favorable to the
party than the settlement offer, the party rejecting the settlement
offer may be awarded attorney fees.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
