Technology Impact
No technology impact is anticipated.
Fiscal Analysis
This bill would require the University of Texas at Austin to remove all
statues and pedestals associated with the Confederate States from public
view.
Methodology
Costs in FY 2002 include the removal of statues and placing them in
storage, demolition of pedestals and the cost of landscaping. The cost
in following years is for storage.
