The bill would amend the Penal Code by changing the conditions for which
the offense of unlawful carrying of weapons cannot be applied.  The
offense of unlawful carrying weapons is punishable as a Class A
misdemeanor; however, the offense is punishable as a felony of the third
degree if the offense is committed on any premises licensed or issued a
permit for the sale of alcohol.
