The bill would require a person wishing to construct, transfer ownership,
or remove a wireless communication facility to file various notices in
advance of construction with the county clerk, public airports located
within three miles of the proposed facility, the Texas Department of
Agriculture, and either each owner of land within two miles of the
proposed location or in a newspaper of general circulation in the
county. The Texas Department of Agriculture would, in turn, be required
to notify the boll weevil eradication foundation.
