The bill would amend Chapter 38, Code of Criminal Procedure ,and Chapter
18 of the Civil Practices and Remedies Code that in any criminal or
civil proceeding in which a child younger than 13 years of age is a
witness, the court shall require questions directed at the child to be
be appropriate and shall limit the unnecessary repetition of questions
directed at the child.
