Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.

The provision requiring the addition of information on campus
non-completers to the campus report card would add an estimated one page
to the current report card length. The additional cost to school
districts to print and distribute the larger report card to the parents
of all 1,096,580 high school students is based on $.03 a page, for a
statewide total of $32,897.

School districts may incur a small amount of additional cost in tracking
down parents of students that have dropped out and distributing the
campus non-completer information to them.
