Local Government Impact
  
The bill would authorize a county purchasing agent to develop rules and
procedures for approval by the commissioners court for making county
purchases using a credit card. Allowing purchases to be made with credit
cards could provide a savings in the cost for processing purchases.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
