notify the Texas Department of Criminal Justice regarding
certain proceedings in cases of defendants or inmates
returned to the county on a bench warrant.), As Passed

The bill would require that the county notify the Texas Department of
Criminal Justice if an offender is released on bail or if the charges on
which the offender was convicted and for which the offender was
transferred to TDCJ are dismissed after the offender is transfered to the
county on bench warrant.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
