               injury to a pregnant woman.), As Introduced

The bill would impose civil liability on a person for damages if as a
result of the person's wrongful act or negligent act or omission, another
person who is a pregnant woman suffers bodily injury that results in a
miscarriage or stillbirth.  The bill would allow the mother or father to
bring suit.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2001.
