The bill would require the Department of Information Resources, in
consultation with other state agencies, to perform a study of E-Texas
recommendation EG-5. The department advises that it can perform the
requirements of the bill with current staffing. Any costs for
implementation of the program would be determined as a part of the
study.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
