offense of unlawful restraint.), As Passed 2nd House

The bill would amend the Penal Code by making the offense of unlawful
restraint punishable as a felony of the third degree if the actor
restrains an individual the actor knows is a public servant while the
public servant is lawfully discharging an official duty or in
retaliation for the exercise of official duty of a public servant, or if
the actor while in custody restrained any other person.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
