governor for a day or speaker's reunion day ceremony.),

The bill changes the aggregate amount that may be contributed to the
speaker's reunion day ceremony. The bill would also require that an
outstanding balance be put into an account to be used for the next
governor for a day or speaker's reunion day ceremony or distribute the
balance to charity. The bill is effective immediately if it receives a
vote of two-thirds of all members, or if failing to receive two-thirds
of the vote, the bill is effective September 1, 2001.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
