The bill will not have a fiscal or administrative impact on the Texas
Forest Service (TFS). Texas Forest Service personnel work closely with
local law officers and District Attorneys on timber theft issues as a
part of their regular duties; the bill should not have a fiscal or
administrative effect on their regular duties.
Local Government Impact
This bill may generate additional income as a result of increased fines.
