There could be some savings to state agencies and local governments
located in areas considered to be nonattainment for ozone since the
bill's passage would likely result in less stringent fuel content
standards and, therefore, lower fuel costs. However, any savings
associated with lower fuel costs is not anticipated to be significant.
  
Local Government Impact
  
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
